RaceDrops Privacy Policy

Henry Adventures Corporation ("RaceDrops," "we," "us") operates racedrops.com, the RaceDrops mobile app, and track websites hosted on our platform. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what control you have over it.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
All accounts: display name, email address, password (stored hashed, never in readable form), and birth month and year.
If you sign in with Apple or Google: the name and email address that provider shares with us. If you use Apple's "Hide My Email," we receive only the relay address and never see your real one.
Driver profiles: competition number, hometown, biography, profile photo, and vehicle details including vehicle photos.
Event registration: the classes you enter, the vehicle you enter, your dial-in or qualifying times, and check-in and technical inspection status.
Community features: forum posts, direct messages, group messages, photos, and pick'em selections.
Track accounts: track name, address, logo, brand colors, contact details, staff members and their roles, and business information required for payment processing.
Support and demo requests: whatever you include when you contact us or submit a demo request form.
Information we collect automatically
- Device type, operating system, and app version
- IP address and general location derived from it
- Usage information: pages and screens viewed, features used, and time of access
- Push notification tokens, if you enable notifications
- Error and crash logs
Precise location
The app may ask permission to use your device's location only to sort nearby tracks when you are choosing which tracks to follow. We use it at that moment and do not store your coordinates. Declining does not limit any other part of the app.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect your full date of birth — only month and year. We do not collect Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, or government identification. We never see or store your full payment card number.
2. Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you pay an entry fee or a Track pays a subscription, your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our systems. We receive only a transaction identifier, the amount, the status, and the last four digits of the card.
Tracks accepting payments complete Stripe Connect onboarding, which requires business and banking information supplied directly to Stripe and subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
3. How we use information
- To operate the Service: create and manage accounts, register entries, generate brackets, publish results, and host track websites
- To send notifications ("Drops") about tracks, drivers, and events you follow
- To process payments and subscriptions
- To provide customer support and respond to demo requests
- To moderate content, investigate reports, and enforce our Terms and Community Guidelines
- To protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats
- To understand how the Service is used so we can improve it
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.
4. What other people can see
RaceDrops is partly a public platform. The following are visible to anyone, including people without an account:
- Track names, event schedules, classes, rules, and results
- Entry lists for public events: driver name, competition number, vehicle, class, and status
- Driver profiles that the driver has marked public, including results history and vehicle photos
- Forum posts and photos in track forums
- Pick'em leaderboards
The following are not public: your email address, your birth information, your direct messages, your payment records, and whether you have paid for an entry.
Users under 18 appear on public leaderboards by initials and competition number rather than full name.
Drivers may set their profile to private, which removes it from public directories and search.
5. When we share information
We share information only in these circumstances:
With the Track you register with. When you enter an event, that Track's staff see your name, competition number, vehicle, class, contact email, entry status, and payment status. They need this to run the event.
With service providers who operate our infrastructure:

These providers may only use the information to perform services for us.
For legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to prevent harm, investigate fraud, or protect our rights.
In a business transfer. If RaceDrops is acquired or merges with another company, information may transfer as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
6. How long we keep information
We keep account information while your account is active. When you delete your account:
- Your profile, vehicles, and personal details are deleted within 30 days
- Your direct messages are deleted
- Your forum posts are anonymized rather than removed, so conversations remain coherent
- Competition results remain in the historical record, since they are part of a Track's event history, attributed to your competition number
- Transaction records are retained as long as required by tax and accounting law (generally seven years)
7. Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), encryption at rest, hashed passwords, and row-level database security that isolates each track's data. Access to production systems is limited to personnel who need it.
No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by California law and any other applicable law.
8. Your rights and choices
Everyone can:
- View and edit profile information in the app or portal
- Control push notifications in the app and in device settings
- Control who can send direct messages
- Make a driver profile public or private
- Block other users
- Delete your account
California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
To exercise any right, email privacy@racedrops.com. We will verify your identity and respond within 45 days.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it. Parents or guardians may contact privacy@racedrops.com.
Users between 13 and 17 are subject to additional protections described in our Terms of Service, including restrictions on direct messages and limited display of their names on public leaderboards.
10. Where information is processed
RaceDrops is operated from the United States, and information is stored and processed there. If you use the Service from outside the United States, you consent to that transfer.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
