RaceDrops Community Guidelines
Effective September 15, 2026
RaceDrops is built for racers, tracks, and the people who show up to watch. These guidelines keep it that way. They apply everywhere you can post or send something: track forums, direct messages, group chats, photos, profiles, and comments.
Breaking them can get your content removed, your posting privileges suspended, or your account terminated.
The short version
Talk to people the way you would in the pits, standing in front of them. Argue about setups, not about each other. Don't post anything you wouldn't want a kid at the track to see.
What's not allowed
Harassment and abuse. No targeting anyone with insults, threats, or repeated unwanted contact. No pile-ons. No sending someone abusive messages after they've blocked or asked you to stop.
Hate speech. No attacking or demeaning people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation. No hate symbols.
Threats and violence. No threatening anyone with harm, no encouraging violence, no wishing injury on a competitor.
Sexual content. No pornography, no sexually explicit material, no unsolicited sexual messages. Absolutely nothing that sexualizes a minor — this results in immediate permanent termination and a report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and to law enforcement.
Contact with minors. Adults must not send unsolicited messages to users under 18, request personal information from them, or attempt to arrange contact off the platform. Our systems restrict this; attempting to work around it is a serious violation.
Impersonation. Don't pretend to be another racer, a track official, a sponsor, or RaceDrops staff. Don't claim a verified driver badge you haven't earned.
Doxxing. Don't post anyone's home address, phone number, workplace, or other private information without their permission — including your own family's.
Illegal activity. Don't use RaceDrops to organize street racing, sell stolen parts, arrange illegal wagering, or coordinate anything unlawful.
Spam and scams. No bulk unsolicited messages, no phishing, no fake parts sales, no crypto pitches, no chain messages.
Cheating the platform. No fake accounts, no manipulating pick'em leaderboards, no evading a suspension with a new account, no scraping data.
Other people's stuff. Don't post photos, videos, logos, or writing you don't have rights to.
Classifieds
Track forums include a classifieds category for selling parts and equipment. A few rules:
- Only sell what you actually have
- Describe condition honestly
- Keep listings in the classifieds category
- No firearms, ammunition, controlled substances, or anything that can't be legally sold
RaceDrops is not part of any transaction. We don't process classifieds payments, hold funds, verify sellers, or mediate disputes. Meet in person when you can, and be careful.
Pick'em
Pick'em is free and awards points only. Points have no cash value.
Don't use RaceDrops to organize betting or wagering on race outcomes. If a track runs its own giveaway tied to the leaderboard, that's between you and the track.
Reporting and blocking
Report anything that breaks these rules. There's a report option on every post, message, and photo. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
Block anyone you don't want to hear from. Blocking hides their content from you across RaceDrops and prevents them from contacting you. They aren't told.
For anything urgent — threats, safety concerns, content involving a minor — email support@racedrops.com directly rather than waiting on the queue.
Don't abuse reporting. Filing false reports to silence someone is itself a violation.
How we enforce
Depending on what happened and whether it's a pattern, we may:
- Remove the content
- Issue a warning
- Temporarily suspend posting privileges
- Suspend you from a specific track's community
- Permanently terminate your account
Severe violations — threats of violence, content sexualizing minors, doxxing — skip straight to termination.
Track moderators appointed by a track can moderate that track's forums: pinning, locking, removing posts, and resolving reports. RaceDrops staff can act anywhere on the platform.
Appeals. If you think we got it wrong, email support@racedrops.com with your account name and what happened. We'll take another look.
For track owners and moderators
If you run a track on RaceDrops, your forum is your house:
- Set the tone. A pinned welcome post explaining what your community is about does more than any filter.
- Handle reports promptly. Your racers will notice either way.
- Moderate consistently, including when the person is a friend or a big name.
- You can add categories, pin announcements, and lock threads that have run their course.
- Escalate to us at support@racedrops.com for anything involving threats, minors, or a user who needs removing from the whole platform rather than just your track.
Moderator actions are logged. Using moderator tools to harass or silence legitimate criticism will cost you the role.
A note about race results
Arguments about a call, a disqualification, or a payout belong with the track, not in a forum pile-on. Post your side once if you want to. Repeatedly attacking an official or another racer over a result is harassment, whatever you think of the call.
RaceDrops publishes what track staff enter. We don't referee competition disputes.
Changes
We'll update these guidelines as the community grows. Material changes will be announced in the app.
